Passive IR detection for maximum reliability

A passive IR detector reacts as soon as a major temperature change is detected within its field of view. This means that rain, snow, wind or bushes do not affect detection, only people and larger animals. The IR light is invisible to the human eye, which means that the detection cannot be detected in advance.

Forget false alarms for small animals, weather and wind

The IR detector has a built-in solution to not alarm smaller animals such as rabbits, cats and small dogs. It is also resistant to alarms caused by weather or swaying trees. This means that the number of false alarms can be reduced to a very low level and you can be sure that an alarm is actually an alarm.

Easy to install

The detector is attached at a convenient height of about two metres from the ground with the handy bracket provided. Adjusting the angle is done intuitively by simply turning the bracket and thus detecting the desired area. The Optex LX-802N is then connected to any device (such as an IP camera) and power.
