Create your own alarm scenarios

With this solution, automation has never been easier. You can set up exactly what will happen if someone pays an unexpected visit - activate sirens, start the coffee maker, get alerts for smoke or water leaks. You can set up a flowchart and based on different "triggers" (motion detection, alarm inputs, etc.) let the system control different events (start pan/tilt/zoom, switch on/off special camera functions, alarm outputs, etc.) - the possibilities are almost endless!

How is scenario management used?

Scenario control gives the user great opportunities to customise the surveillance system's functions and how it reacts in different situations. This feature is very effective in environments where a smarter surveillance system is required. This could be shops, large premises or villas with high surveillance requirements. The simplest form of scenario control is to set how recording of material is handled, for example whether recording takes place all the time or only when a camera has recorded a movement. In more advanced solutions, systems can be controlled to activate sirens, send PUSH alerts and display the event directly on a screen.

How does scenario management work?

Scenario-based camera surveillance is a method for increasing the effectiveness of camera surveillance. A scenario is built up by activating different events depending on what is happening somewhere in the surveillance system. For example, multiple cameras can be activated via a motion detector to secure evidence even if there is no movement in front of them.

Which devices have scenario control?

This feature is exclusive to our smartest video storage device AVTECH AVH8516 which besides scenario control is also packed with other smart functions and features, such as intelligent video analysis and H.265 compression.
