Get PUSH alerts and take action directly via your smartphone

With True PUSH Alarm*, within five seconds of an event, you receive a video clip, such as a burglary, fire or flood, with a unique audio signal. This is a ground-breaking feature that takes alarms to a whole new level with unrivalled reliability.

The reliability of the PUSH alarm comes from the fact that the alarm can be triggered by an external detector and that the camera records in advance so you can see what happened even before the alarm was triggered. With outdoor cameras, you can stop thieves as soon as they enter your property and, at best, avoid a break-in altogether!

*For maximum reliability, outdoor cameras should always be supplemented with an external detector, such as a motion detector.

What can PUSH alarms be used for?

PUSH alarms bring you a new world of possibilities to quickly find out if and what is happening. Often associated with burglar alarms, it can give you really effective protection by catching burglars as they enter your property. For example, when you receive a PUSH alarm on your mobile phone, you can activate a siren to scare away thieves before they enter the building. In addition to burglar alarms, PUSH alarms can be used for almost anything where you want video verification, such as smoke detectors or fixed panic buttons.

How does it work?

PUSH alarms are generally activated by a detector external to the camera that is separate from image detection. The clever idea behind this is that it is difficult, if not impossible, to fool detectors that are developed with one thing in mind, detecting people. Through an alarm with video clips, the verification becomes very fast. It is simply an image verification of an already very reliable alarm where you can decide for yourself whether it is the neighbour knocking or an unauthorised person. Intelligent video analytics can also be used for PUSH alarms, but it will never be as sharp as external detectors. Some cameras can control a PUSH alarm standalone, while others need to be connected to a video storage device to activate the alarm.

What products does PUSH Alarm have?

PUSH alarm is a unique feature only available on AVTECH's higher-end IP cameras and video storage devices. Several indoor cameras have a built-in motion detector where the camera itself can send PUSH alarms as soon as it is connected to the internet. Outdoor cameras do not have built-in detectors due to weather protection and therefore need to be supplemented with, for example, a motion detector to provide reliable alarms. Also several video storage devices for TVI/HD CCTV are equipped with alarm inputs, which means that even a simple analogue camera can deliver image evidence in case of motion, smoke or similar. Below you will find the products that support PUSH alarms.
