Other PoE products

PoE enables power transfer over the network cable, which is often more convenient than having power at a surveillance camera. For individual IP cameras that support PoE, a PoE injector is often a smart choice as it allows the camera to be powered and you do not have to draw separate power or invest in a separate PoE switch. There are also PoE extenders that can extend the distance for PoE up to 500 metres. In addition to the IP67 rating, the outdoor versions are vandal-resistant and can handle minor power spikes.
