The AETEK H21-041-30-075 is a very robust outdoor PoE switch with four channels. Two of the device's ports have an extended range to deliver signal and power over 250 metres. The 75W power budget is ample for PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at). It is made for harsh environments and is both vandal resistant to IK10 and weatherproof to IP67. In addition, it can withstand Swedish winters down to minus 40℃. Should thunder strike nearby, there is also a powerful surge protection of 10 KV on the input power and 12 KV on each PoE port.
Unique PoE range up to 250 metres
The switch is equipped with a smart PoE amplifier that allows cameras to be powered through the network cable up to 250 metres (normally 100 m) from the switch. A small button (DIP-switch) activates the extended range mode where IEEE 802.3af PoE is supported up to 250 metres. For PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), a range of up to 200 metres is supported. The only limitation is that the available bandwidth drops to 10 Mbps, which is more than enough for most surveillance cameras.
PoE+ for the easiest possible installation
With its built-in PoE+ power supply, this device can power even the most power-hungry IP cameras on the market directly via the network cable. This means a simplified one-cable installation with video and power running in the same place. PoE+ also provides more stable operation of less power-hungry cameras thanks to the large power buffer. All channels support PoE+, so you don't have to worry about where to plug in a particular camera, just plug it in and everything runs smoothly.
