Professional surveillance system. Quick and easy installation.

With the new modern technology 'PoE' (Power over Ethernet), you no longer need complex cabling or a separate power outlet for each camera. All cameras are connected to the NVR via a single cable, which both powers the cameras and receives the footage.

Wired surveillance cameras are cameras that are physically connected to the network or a recording device via cables. They typically use Ethernet cables to transmit the video and audio signals to a central recording device or a surveillance monitor. Wired surveillance cameras can take advantage of Power over Ethernet (PoE) for both power supply and data transmission, eliminating the need for separate power cables. They can offer more stable and reliable data transmission compared to wireless cameras and are therefore often preferred in areas with higher security requirements or where continuous monitoring is essential.

Advantages of wired systems:

  1. Stable data transmission: Wired systems offer more stable and reliable data transmission compared to wireless systems, which is critical for continuous monitoring.
  2. Higher security: They are more resistant to interference and tampering, making them suitable for areas with higher security requirements.
  3. PoE functionality: Power over Ethernet (PoE) reduces the need for separate power cables, simplifying installation and minimising hassle.
  4. Avoids frequency interference: Wired systems avoid problems that can occur on wireless frequency bands, where other devices such as cordless phones and microwave ovens can interfere with the signal.
  5. Frequency bands: Wireless systems share frequency bands with several other devices, which can lead to interference and affect performance.
  6. Power limitations: The 2.4 GHz band has a low power limitation, which can limit range and affect transmission speed.
  7. Data transmission: Wired systems allow for the stable transmission of large amounts of data, which is important for surveillance cameras that send continuous video stream.
  8. Interference products: Wireless systems are susceptible to interference from other electronic devices, such as WiFi jammers, which can compromise the reliability of the system.

In summary, wired surveillance systems are recommended for those who prioritise stability, security and continuity of surveillance functionality, although it may require more work in installation compared to wireless options.

To connect a surveillance system with a Network Video Recorder (NVR) and associated IP cameras with Power over Ethernet (PoE) feed, follow these steps:

  1. NVR placement: Place the NVR in a central location where it has adequate ventilation and access to electrical outlets. This will serve as the hub of the surveillance system.
  2. Connecting the NVR to the network: Connect the NVR to the local network using an Ethernet cable. This allows remote access and data transfer between the NVR and other devices on the network.
  3. Connecting cameras to the NVR: Connect the IP cameras to the NVR using Ethernet cables. The NVR should have dedicated PoE ports for easy and efficient power supply and data transfer to each camera.
  4. Power over PoE: Since the NVR has a built-in PoE switch, it will power the cameras and transmit data over the same Ethernet cable. This eliminates the need for separate power cables to each camera. After you deploy the cameras, they are quickly and easily connected with a cable directly to the NVR.
  5. Connecting NVR to monitor: For local monitoring and configuration, connect the NVR to a monitor using the available video port on the device.
  6. Configuration and remote access: Configure the surveillance system through the NVR's user interface. Users can monitor and manage the cameras locally through the monitor or remotely through a web browser or dedicated software.

Using an NVR with a built-in PoE switch makes installation easy and efficient. The integrated system provides both power and data management for each IP camera, simplifying the connection process and providing a reliable and centralised solution for surveillance.

Advanced AI video analytics

Our state-of-the-art camera systems offer advanced AI video analytics, giving you unreliable alerts on people at the times and areas you want so you avoid false alarms. As a plus, you can also choose to only have recording on AI alarms, which gives increased recording time. You can also use this to search the recorded material more quickly and filter out only those sequences where people have been in the image within a certain area, for example.

The cameras detect motion in the image and the AI engine can quickly determine what is moving in the image and distinguish people from other possible movements, ensuring reliable alarms.

You can also choose to draw lines or areas in the image and set the times you want the alarm to be activated. For example, a box in the car park can be alerted to people during the night and you avoid any false alarms on animals or other movement in the image.

The AI image analysis is fully digital, meaning no analogue sensor is used. This provides virtually unlimited range and can analyse everything visible in the field of view.

Absolutely, it is possible to adjust the AI's sensitivity and what it will generate alarms on so that you can decide how much movement and what type of movement is required to activate the alarm. For example, you can configure the camera to ignore swaying branches but react if a person moves past. In addition, you can quickly adjust the sensitivity level and mark specific areas for monitoring directly in the image.

Unlike traditional motion detectors, the advanced AI technology can give you reliable alarms on people. This is the broadest innovation that can be applied both for you as a business owner and a private person! With AI technology, you never have to worry about missing an important event on your surveillance camera again.

Take your security system to a whole new level with AI video analytics from AVTECH and say goodbye to false alarms

Absolutely, the camera saves the five seconds leading up to an AI alarm. When the camera detects motion and starts recording, this feature adds the previous five seconds to the recording. This way, the recording starts just before the movement, ensuring that nothing is missed.

Stylish, small and discreet

The dome cameras in our packages are characterised by their elegant, rounded design and glass dome. This dome gives them IK10 vandal protection and makes vandalism more difficult. In addition, the dome makes it more difficult for potential perpetrators to see exactly what is being filmed. This is why they are particularly popular for indoor environments, although their discreet design makes them desirable for outdoor use too. The camera can be mounted on ceilings or walls, and once installed, it is easy to adjust the angle of view. An innovative 3-axis internal design allows the lens to rotate freely around its own axis, allowing it to be pointed in any direction.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use

Our cameras are made of durable metal materials that withstand stress, making them perfect for the Swedish climate. The cable is conveniently stored in the supplied bracket, and the internationally IP66-certified design ensures that the camera is both waterproof and dustproof. You can use your camera with complete confidence in any weather, whether it's cold or hot, with temperatures ranging from -30℃ to 60℃.

In-built microphone

All camera models in AVTECH's packages come with a built-in microphone, so you can not only see what's happening on site, but also hear it. If you also want to be able to communicate through the camera, we offer AVTECH's Guard series, which has a built-in speaker for two-way communication.

Masking areas

Worried about GDPR and getting caught by the CCTV Act or maybe filming something that is privacy protected? Our masking feature gives you extra peace of mind. With our smart masking feature, you can easily cover parts of the image with a black area. This allows you to point the camera at the desired angle without sensitive objects appearing in the image.

Starlight - with ULTRA you get perfect colour images even at night

With Starlight, you get superior quality, sharp colours even in low light conditions and darkness, providing visual detail that greatly improves the ability to identify people and objects! Many crimes, especially burglaries and violent crimes, occur at night. ULTRA cameras significantly improve identification in low light and darkness, such as the colour of people's clothes or the colour of the car. In addition, colour images are always sharper than those cameras that can only reproduce black and white images in the dark!

Experience details with zoom and MVF lens

The Ultra cameras are equipped with a motorised varifocal lens, which allows you to easily zoom optically via the app or interface without losing detail as you do on the regular digital zoom. This is ideal for monitoring at distances longer than 20 metres, where detail is crucial. Choose a wide angle of 100º to cover a large area, or go down to 30º equivalent to four times optical zoom to scrutinise details.

IK10 rating - Unbeatable vandal and impact protection!

Our ULTRA dome surveillance equipment is IK10 rated, which means it is designed to withstand tough stresses and protect against acts of vandalism. With this high standard, our cameras are ready to meet the challenges of any environment, giving you peace of mind and reliability. Choose a surveillance solution that not only looks after your area but also stands up to it!

Smart autofocus

The cameras in the ULTRA package feature fast autofocus which, combined with motorised zoom, allows you to quickly capture sharp, zoomed-in images in ULTRA HD resolution, even at long distances and for moving objects. This feature provides high reliability when identifiable images are required and is ideal for installations with high security requirements or process monitoring and industries where detailed images are essential.
